Maintenance and maintenance of glass sight glasses
1. The glass window is used to observe the flow reaction of liquid, gas, steam and other media and should be kept clean and dust-free.
2. The window glass is suitable for damage, so be careful when installing the sight glass.
3. The temperature and pressure resistance of glass has certain limitations, depending on the actual situation.
The following provides the physical experiment parameters of the national standard glass manufacturing process:
Temperature resistance: tempered borosilicate glass≤200℃, quartz glass≤1000℃, aluminosilicate glass≤450℃
Pressure resistance: tempered borosilicate glass sheet ≤2.5MPa, quartz glass sheet ≤10.0MPa, aluminum silicate glass ≤6.4MP

2. Sight glass lens installation
Make sure that the lens holder is flat and smooth, and the gasket between the lens and the lens holder is installed smoothly, the gasket is not damaged and does not stick to grease. Before tightening the screws, make sure that the mirror holder and the cover are installed correctly, and then slowly tighten the screws.
3. Check the nameplate parameters carefully, not only to make sure that the components connected to the sight glass lens are well sealed, but also that the sealing between the sight glass and the welding flange is good, and to ensure that the pressure in the pipeline does not exceed the rating of the swing plate sight glass pressure.
4. Do not put additional pressure on the sight glass after installation, otherwise it will cause uneven force on the sight glass and cause the sight glass to break.
