1.What is the difference between A105 and WCB in valve material?
1). Different materials
Carbon steel for A105 valve refers to a series of forged steel in ASTM A105 standard, and the material used is forged Bai steel. The carbon steel for WCB valve refers to WCB and WCC cast steel in ASTM A216 standard, and the material used is cast steel.
2). Different molding methods
A105 valve using plastic deformation, forging workpiece can improve the internal structure, good mechanical properties, uniform grain. WCB valve is formed in liquid state, which will cause structural segregation and defects. Of course, casting has its advantages. It is difficult to open the mold when forging complex parts, so casting has been adopted.
3). Different performance
